Michael Shabinaw

Michael Shabinaw is primarily responsible for developing and managing IRG’s rail related projects including the Port of Nevada. He also oversees IRG’s national railroad operations and is a key leader in cultivating IRG’s intermodal and logistics operations nationwide.

Mr. Shabinaw joined IRG in 2024 after 18 years in rail-related leadership positions. This included positions with BSNF Railway, Remprex, LLC, NCDOT and Hulcher Services. In these roles, he managed West coast operations serving multiple railways and transportation companies with carload solutions, network strategy, track maintenance, and much more. In addition, he supported passenger rail service and fleet maintenance/development.

Mr. Shabinaw is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and resides in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
